Araluen Botanical Park

Araluen Botanical Park is located in the South East of Perth in the City of Armadale. I visited the park for the first time last Spring, on the 7th of October 2015. It is a tulip's heaven in Springtime. There are thousands of them in every shade and colour you can possibly imagine. Since we went on the first few weeks into Spring, we were quite overwhelmed with the large crowd. All the less, it did not falter our journey and ability to appreciate the view and splendour of all the lovely, bright and colourful tulips. It was quite splendid and as I walked across the paths, I was personally amazed and reminded of the beauty of flowers. There are also many features (waterfalls, lake, trails) around the park, so plenty of opportunity to take amazing photos.

This place gives a fresh look at nature. You can easily spend a whole day visiting around since there are benches and tables available, and several green areas. Besides,we do not come across only tulips, but also other greenery, plants, trees and flowers. If you do get the opportunity, please pay this place a visit during Spring. You will love the scenery, and certainly leave the place refreshed and inspired.

Note: There is an admission fee to pay at the entrance. The park is open all year round from 6.a.m to 9.p.m., except for Christmas day.  The rates are normally higher during Springtime. For more information, please refer to their website: http://www.araluenbotanicpark.com.au/
